Hi,

It's possible and supported for pW 4.0 standard and premium, to import from pW 3.x, but it is not currently supported for pW 4.0 Free Edition.

if you are attempting to import with Standard or Premium and are having issues, please advise about the nature of the problem, else I'll assume you are looking for the import option in the Free Edition, where it is not available - and that would explain the difficulty you are having.

Note that if you wish to try pW 4.0 standard or premium, there is a free trial period.

For instructions on importing from pW 3.2, see the PowerWorship 4 online help, via the Web
http://www.powerworship.com/userguide/pw4UserGuide.htm

or via the Help menu in PowerWorship

and browse for the following help topic:

Database Operations >
Importing Songs from PowerWorship 3.x

Note that importing from a pW 3.x archive (.cab/.zip) file is not supported, but you can import .txt files directly from your file system as noted in the above-referenced Help topic.

apologies for the confusion on this topic. I will have the following version comparison chart updated to reflect this particular nuance with the 3 pW 4.0 editions.

please let me know if you have any further questions, or you may contact us by email or phone if needed:
contact info: http://www.powerworship.com/about.html

If you wish to try pW 4.0 standard or premium, simply download the appropriate package from
http://www.powerworship.com/downloads.html

and then install pW 4.0 standard or pW 4.0 premium over top of your existing pW 4.0 Free Edition installation.

There is no need to backup your database ahead of the install, given your existing data will be preserved automatically.

Below is a direct link to the above-referenced Help topic, which is also available in the PowerWorship 4.0 online Help,
by selecting the Help Menu button (question mark icon, on the upper right corner of the program window).
