Adding background templates to PowerWorship 3.0

PointPoint templates (*.pot files) can be added to the PowerWorship templates directory (C:\Program Files\PowerWorship 3.0\Templates is the default location).

If you downloaded the additional templates from http://www.powerworship.com/download.html, extract the pw_templates.zip file to the PowerWorship installation root directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\PowerWorship 3.0).

After templates are added to the PowerWorship templates directory, they will be available to select in the Background drop-down list in the PowerWorship settings.

Use Windows Explorer or My Computer to copy your PowerPoint templates to the PowerWorship templates directory. Alternatively, you can save the templates directly from PowerPoint to the PowerWorship templates directory.

You will need to restart PowerWorship after adding templates before they will show up in the Background drop-down list. Select the Edit menu > Settings to open the PowerWorship settings and to change the Background template.

NOTE: Formatting options such as Font, slide width, etc. are not honored by PowerWorship 3.0 when applying templates. The next release of PowerWorship will honor slide format as well as background images.
